The Houston Express Hammers 91 trip to Region 3 Finals was quite an adventurous trip.  The Hammers went 1-1-1 but were unable to advance to Nationals.  Overall the Hammers represented Texas and the Houston Express Soccer Club well.   From the Texas Team Walk-in, team pin trading,  flying and traveling as a team, to competing against the best teams from different states was an experience very few teams get to enjoy.  Their
record at the Region 3 Finals was: Lost -  Louisiana  Fusion 0-1 Won - Alabama Gadsden Tornados 1-0.  Tied -  North Carolina Triangle United Gold 1-1The Ladies competed well and left everything they had on the field.  Mark Gibbs (Director Of Coaching) provided some superb game coverage and some great music for the Ladies.   A lot of great memories were made for the Hammers 91 team.   Overall it was a wonderful experience and the Ladies could not stop talking about it.  What a great experience for U17G.

Houston Express 98 Navy, Champions at the Houston Open Memorial Day Tournament!   The Houston Express 98 Navy won the bracket for newly formed Under 11 teams.  The team was formed the second week of May and they won the Memorial Day tournament!  The team is coached by Eric Schaeffer with assistant coaches Simon Grant and Scott Dorfman. Team trainers are Vedad Hadzajlic, Age Covic and Ken Ashcroft.

The U12 Houston Express (Bellaire) Lions finished fourth in the President's Cup State tournament in Austin May 24-25, 2008.  The Lions advanced to State after finishing second in the EDDOA President's Cup this past Spring.  Congratulations Lions!

Express 98 Pumas - 2008 Sylvan Beach Tournament Champions! The Pumas were undefeated in tournament play! The girls won the championship by winning a very hard fought championship game 2-1 against the Quest Hurricanes.  The girls won all 4 of their games in the tournament, outscoring their opponents by a cumulative
total of 9-3.  The team exhibited remarkable balance as the 9 goals were scored by 7 different players.  The Pumas add this to their stellar performances at the 2008 Tax Time and the Cy Fair Valentine's Day tournaments!
